How to become an official Community MeetUp Spot

Interested in having your business space designated as a safe trade location for buyers and sellers? Become a Community MeetUp Spot through OfferUp.

Requirements

To qualify as an official Community MeetUp Spot, your location must be:

• A brick-and-mortar local business or law enforcement agency
• Located in a brightly-lit, public area with lighting that stays on 24/7
• Equipped with working 24-hour video surveillance
• ADA accessible

Application

If your location meets the requirements for an official Community MeetUp Spot, please fill out our MeetUp Spot Request Form. We’ll review your application and reach out to you by email with further details.

Free starter kit

If you qualify as an official Community MeetUp Spot, we’ll send you a free kit with everything you need to get started, including an official MeetUp Spot sign. Signs are 12”x18” and made of heavy-duty aluminum. They come with pre-drilled holes for placement on a wall or on a post to indicate the safe trade area.
